My interest in real estate started early. Growing up an Army brat and moving every three years, I always wondered where we were going to live next. During my senior year at Texas A&M I bought my first house and decided to make Bryan/College Station my home. It was an older house and I would spend my evenings after school and work painting, tearing out old carpet, reglazing windows, and refinishing hardwood floors. I still own and love that house!
It wasn’t too long into my career in journalism that I decided I was much more interested in houses so real estate might be a better choice. That was almost three decades ago and I am happy every day about that decision. I have been privileged to help thousands of families pursue their real estate goals. Clients have become friends who I enjoy working with on a repeat basis and I am honored when they refer me to their friends and family.
I see my role in real estate as an educator, problem solver and advocate for my clients, so I believe to best achieve my clients’ goals I need to understand their experiences. For the past 30 years I have bought and sold homes, built new construction, bought rental properties and commercial properties, used a 1031 exchange to buy and sell investments, and I now even own an AirBnB!
I live in College Station with my husband, Chandler, who retired as a professional photographer and now develops residential subdivisions. We enjoy spending time with our four grown children who live here and in Houston. Travel is a passion. I also love gardening and I’m still fixing up houses.
Community is important so I have served on the boards of OPAS, Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra, numerous HOAs and have worked with Habitat for Humanity, Circle of Women and the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
